Hey, just wondered if you knew where you were likely to be going for your birthday do & when? I've just bought some tickets for me & Olly a play and have just realised that it might be when you're part-tay-ing. I know it's quite a while away but I thought i'd ask cos i'd like to come out for it if I can, I just wanna check that i'm not double booking myself! :o/|
Am not sure yet ^.^ not made plans :)
Okey dokey not to worry, I thought you might not have decided yet but it was worth asking. If you end up doing anything in Exeter, rather than Plymouth, I might be able to pop over to say hi after the play if they clash anyway.
Right, back to bitch at the daftness that is Most Haunted now!
Blimey, you're still alive!
Barely! Sometimes I wonder myself. How are things going with you, been up to much? Last thing I remember you weren't very well. Actually, you always seem to be damaged/dislocated/ill in some way! Poor you, please don't ever be tempted to bungee jump or do anything actually statistically dangerous!
Well I've spent much of this year unwell in one way or another, so there's no change there really! Presently coming down with a sore throat, after my quarantine period for a measles-like virus. Safe to say, I think bunjee jumping isn't on my list of things to do before I die!
I may be heading up your way in the next fortnight or so. Primarily by invitation of Daisy, but it'd be nice to say hello to your and the bloke again.
Good! Glad you're not planning too many exciting but potentially damaging things- not that Devon is exactly a hub of exciting things to do, potentially damaging or not. I'm glad your quarantine is over though, did you ever work out what it was & where you got it from? I remember reading your post about it, it sounded awful. As the suffer of a plethera of strange skin diseases myself I know how horrid they are & how they can really get you down & make you feel like crap.

Cool! I have to admit i've been in a self-induced social coma since Christmas, due to way too much Work-work and College-work, resulting in a couple of hours out with harlotqueen
to see Circus of Horrors and one drink out for Olly's birthday (we managed a pitiful 30 mins in the pub before crawling back home to sleep!) - quite tragic! So I really need to start getting out again even if it's just for a couple of drinks, otherwise the transition to full hermitrude will be complete.
Anyway i'll stop waffling, it would be good to catch up again. Let me know when you're coming up and i'll trudge into town & see if I can drag Olly out with me :o)
The only potentially damaging things I ever intend to do is take up storm-chasing, but I need a healthy travel budget for that, so it'll be a long time before I achieve that goal!
Unfortunately nobody ever got to the root of my skin problem - my skin is still pretty dry (but not flaky, thankfully!), and I still have little pink patches dotted over me, but as far as what caused it, or even what it was, nobody's any wiser.
Well your 30 minutes in the pub put my entire 2007 social life to shame. Although I've spent a fair bit of time both in front and behind the bar, I have yet to consume a drop of alcohol since Christmas. Even my less-sensitive friends have been saying they miss me, so you're not alone in the coma!
I'll drop you a line when I'm heading up, probably via email 'cause I'm too poor to afford credit nowadays!
Storm chasing?! OMG, my brother would love that! You scary nutter! lol
How weird about your skin. Then again, unfortunately diagnosis seems to depend a lot on what doctor you see what s/he happens to know. I've had odd things going on with my eyes for a while & it took 8 months and 6 different doctors before I actually got a diagnosis! Very infuriating. A friend of mine had ringworm, that comes up in red rings and spreads like buggery, it took her a while to get that diagnosed- apparently she got it from stroking a neighbours dog. Perhaps it was something like that? Oh well, at least it's gone, that's the important thing.

Crikey, that doesn't sound like you! ;o) It does make me feel a bit better though! Cool, i'll keep a beady eye on my email then :o)
